MARSHALLS of Southowram has looked outside the box for ways to implement its community and social responsibility policy.
It has always been keenly aware of the impact on its immediate environment and has invested cash and man hours on improvements, funding educational programmes and clean-up campaigns.

Further afield it recognises the rights of workers in Indian quarries and their need for guaranteed safety at work.

Its commitment to enforcing stringent good work practice at its sites overseas is led by chief executive Graham Holden.

Importantly employees are encouraged to come forward with ideas for community projects within their locality, supported by the company.
