Ready for the bus armed with my secret weapons, Rolf and Sir Cliff
Spring Lane Greetland Halifax
While recently travelling on a bus into Halifax, I was disturbed by a young man who was carrying out an annoying habit which seems to be the current trend among the young. He was one seat behind me with music blaring out from his phone.
I have no problem with people listening to their music but is it not common decency to use headphones, thereby not letting it affect other people?
Unfortunately, I fear that courtesy to other people is fast becoming something of an anomaly.
Rather than get agitated by this, however, I have decided to fight fire with fire. I have recently upgraded my mobile phone to one which doubles as an mp3 player which, I believe, is a music player. I asked my son to upload some music for me and give me a few pointers on how to work it.
I can now hardly wait to catch the bus into Halifax, and eagerly await the inconsiderate soul who wishes to pollute the air with their loud, lyricless music as I have some classic Sir Cliff Richard, Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport by Rolf Harris and even some David Hasselhoff to play in response, from one seat behind them.
