How often do we hear people say: "I can't do that or I'm not good enough". Is this you? Why not instead push away your limiting thoughts and reach for your dreams?
If you knew that you could do or achieve anything that you set out to do how would you feel? If you won a million pounds on the lottery, how would you feel? The type of feelings that we can summon up in these scenarios make it easier for us to act wi
th a greater amount of self-confidence. Guess what! You can summon up those feelings any time that you want to, if you choose to. I am giving you permission to achieve anything, so go and do it. Here are a couple more hints and tips to help get you there.
Starting today:
1. Write down any limiting beliefs you might have about yourself and your abilities (what are you telling yourself and others that you can't do).
2. When you have a list, then create another one, challenging the negative views that you have. Turn everything around so that you are focused on the positive. Think of a way round every obstacle.
Taking these two simple steps will give you a change of perspective and the assurance that you need to focus your energy on the positive qualities and skills that you possess which will get you what you want.
Changing your view so that it is focused on the positive things in life is a powerful way to rise above restricted and often destructive ideas. Many people tend to spiral into negativity at the first sign of things not going their way and they have thoughts that tell them that they can't do what they are perfectly capable of doing.
Challenging these thoughts is an easy but effective way to retrain the mind to think about the positive aspects in life and character that can take people to where they want to go.
Remember: By altering your perceptions you will put your future dreams into motion today.
Say to yourself each day: "It's not what I can do, it's what I will do". Then your life will start to transform itself.
