FASHIONISTAS and fans of ghd are being offered the chance to be tutored on the latest hair and make-up trends at the first ever ghd Sunday School.
The global hair beauty brand is to open the doors of its ground-breaking style academy at Bridgewater Place, Leeds, to welcome a select number of pupils for a day of pampering and education in the art of glamour.
Students will walk down the illuminated catwalk to a champagne reception before beginning their ghd tuition.
Top stylists from the ghd Directive will offer lessons in how to create different styles with the ghd stylers, how to create the perfect 'up do' and how to achieve salon perfect blow-drying. Each pupil will also receive a personal hair consultation and learn make up tips to help complete the look.
After a few hours of instruction and relaxation the Sunday School pupils will be whisked away to the luxury of the nearby Malmaison Hotel for lunch and cocktails.
Beth Watson, director of education at ghd, said: "The ghd style academy was created as a centre of excellence for our stylists and salons across the UK, but we also want customers to experience the world of ghd.
"Our customers are passionate about our stylers and thermodynamic products and the Sunday Schools provide the opportunity for us to demonstrate and educate them further on the fashion, style and image possibilities that ghd presents.
"And apart from learning more about ghd our Sunday School students will enjoy an amazing day of pampering."
Pupils will also have the chance to experience ghd spa products and treatments, specially created to resurrect inner beauty, providing the perfect foundation for glamour.
Pupils will be able to relax with a glass of champagne, flick through the latest glossies or just soak up the gorgeous atmosphere between styling sessions.
A limited number of places for the first ghd Sunday School on November 30th are available at a cost of £75 per person, which is redeemable against any ghd styler purchase made on the day. Further Sunday School events are planned over the coming months.
