Double for Crow Nest

THE youngsters of Crow Nest Park GC achieved a notable double at the Halifax and Huddersfield Union's Junior Strokeplay Championship at West End on Sunday.
The Lightcliffe Tankard for the best gross score on the day went to Ben Adamson with a 71 while the Lightcliffe Trophy for the best net score went to 19 handicapper Aidan Ozanne who is also a member of the Hove Edge baed club who carded a net 67.

Union regular Ryan Greenwood who is a member of the host club was runner up in the gorss section with a 72 while Crosland Heath five handicap player Michael Lawrie who returned a net 70.

The top eight players in the gross section go forward to the Union Junior Match Play Championship quarter finals which will be held at Longley Park at 5pm on Monday, July 28.

The semi finals will be held at the same venue on Monday, August 11 with the 36 hole final at Halifax GC on Sunday, August 31.
