New date for Cockroft event

THE PS Cockroft Trophy which fell victim to the weather at Halifax GC on Sunday has been rearranged for Sunday, August 10 at West End when the competition will start afresh.
There are still a few places available for the 36 hole competition, from which the top 32 competitors will qualify for the matchplay stages of the Halifax and Huddersfield Union's individual championship.

The first two rounds of the Matchplay Championship will now take place at Halifax GC on Sunday, August 24 with the quarter and semi finals on Saturday, August 30 and the final as scheduled on Sunday, August 31.
