Parkinson Trophy off

YESTERDAY'S Halifax and Huddersfield Alliance Ronnie Parkinson Memorial Trophy was postponed as the Ryburn GC course was unfit.

Alliance officials are hoping to rearrange the event for later in the winter season and hope to advise in due course.

Entries are now being taken for the next Alliance event which is scheduled for Bradley Park on Tuesday, September 23. Send to: Barry Isles, HDDGA Secretary, 111 Riddings Road, Sheepridge, Huddersfield HD2 1HT. Cheque payable to 'Halifax, Huddersfield & District Golf Alliance.'
