Well here we are again another summer and endless rain!
It seems that at the minute it isn't any longer than four hours between each downpour, which means you are more than likely to get caught in the rain whilst out on the course.
So here are a few tips to prepare yourself for the worst of the weather.

1) Take an umbrella. It may seem obvious but I see so many people get caught without one. If you can't keep yourself dry how do you expect to keep your equipment dry?
2) Make sure you have plenty of towels as these are very good for drying grips.
3) Line the bottom of your bag with newspaper. This will help soak up some of the excess rain.
4) Carry at least three gloves and keep them wrapped in a plastic bag and change them every six holes.
5) Lastly and probably most importantly, invest in a good set of waterproofs that are breathable and come with a guarantee.
To be able to make a good swing you need to be comfortable.
If you stand over the ball feeling damp and cold and not sure whether the club is going to fly out of your grasp, how can you expect to make a good swing?
