An uphill chip is a fairly easy shot to play as the slope encourages you to get height onto the ball.
However you need to make a few adjustments in your set up to help get the correct strike.

Firstly, put the ball to the back of your stance to make sure you strike the ball before the turf.

Secondly, place more weight on your lower foot so that your shoulders run parallel to the slope.

When playing this shot try not to scoop the ball as you will tend to catch the ground or hit the ball half way up.

Instead just use your shoulders and allow the loft on the club to help the ball into the air.
