Practice smart stay sharp
Too often people tend to waste time when practicing, turning up to the range or practice ground with just a driver.
You will use this club probably a maximum 14 times in a round, and when you consider the average golfer takes around 90-100 shots this is not a high percentage.
Here's a simple tip to help you stay sharp when practicing.
Take a bag of around 50 balls and put five different coloured dots on them to represent driver, fairway wood, long iron, mid iron and wedge.
Mark six balls for the driver, eight each for the fairway wood and long iron, 12 for the short iron and 16 for the wedge, as you use that more than the other clubs.
You should have to change clubs almosot every time you pick a ball out, so you stay focused, rather than if you just hit balls away.
