A SUCCESSFUL Mixed Open Am Am held at West End GC last week attracted 37 teams of four from 27 different golf clubs.
And it was Nigel and Ann Smith of Headley GC and their colleagues Robert and Karen Dinsdale of Shipley GC who took the honours with a superb 135 point total.

The Ladies Open Am Am held the same week was similarly successful with 40 teams of four f
rom 26 different clubs competing, with the Crow Nest Park quartet of Carol Hampson, Helen Pearson, Kath Hitchcock and Barbara Horrocks taking the honours with a 132 point score.

Booking are already being taken for the 2009 events, with the Mixed AM AM to be held on Sunday, August 30, entry £36 per team and the Ladies AM AM on Tuesday, September 1 at £36 per team.
