Two meetings are being held to give people a chance to have their say on the masterplan to improve Halifax.
"The masterplan is at a key consultation stage and it is important that communities have their say," said regeneration and development spokeswoman Amanda Byrne.

The first meeting is on Monday at Brighouse Library, between 5pm and 7pm, and the second is on Tuesday at the Good Shepherd Church, Mytholmroyd between 6pm and 8pm.

No meeting in Halifax then....that`s logical. What have Brighouse and Mytholmroyd got to do with Halifax?

Interesting, just what are our Council thinking of, by having these important meetings Out of Town?!I read one of the objectives is 'to make it Green and Sustainable', this will be very interesting. By efectively tryig to make a Town into a City (minus the Cathedral - Hey! lets have a Huge Cathedral too pull out all the stops) filling it with another Bowling alley, another cheap hotel, another Theatre, Destroying our Heritage, trees yes! trees! AND Bringing us...PRIMARK? - God help us! just where are all the new green spaces gonna be anyway? Dear Miss/Ms/Mrs Byrne will you, For goodness sakes, have a bit of sense and Listen to people! Blink the £ signs out of yr eyes, Let Halifax people have the final say otherwise, Well, we'll know who to point the finger at in years to come.
