Breaking news: Fax snare Bulls prop

HALIFAX have finalised their second major signing in the space of 24 hours, snaring Bradford Bulls prop Matt James on a 12 month loan deal.
The 20 year old forward, a Wales international, joins former Harlequins utility player Dwayne Barker - who joined the club on Thursday - and Widnes playmaker Bob Beswick on Matt Calland's list of new recruits.
James' signing is the first step in Calland's promised restructuring of Fax's front row, with Kiwi Frank Watene the only one of the club's incumbent big men who currently has a deal stretching into 2009.
"We have always recognised it was an area we need to strengthen and signing Matt is the first step in doing that," said Calland.
