HALIFAX look likely to complete deals to bring two of their close season transfer targets to the Shay within the next 24 hours.
Fax have already made a clutch of new signings for 2009, with Widnes playmaker Bob Beswick, Bradford props Matt James and Neil Cherryholme and Harlequins utility player Dwayne Barker joining the bulk of Matt Calland's successful 2008 line up.

Now Courier Sport understands two more players - an outside back and a forward - are on the verge of completing moves to the Shay.

Fax officials were remaining tight lipped, but chief executive Graham Clay did confirm they were "close" to further announcements.

Said Tamghart signed!
Looked good for Oldham this season, a real impact player. Sure to be a crowd favourite with his lack of socks.
