HALIFAX RUFC have withdrawn from this season's Yorkshire Cup competition as they are unable to raise a side for their first round clash with Beverley which was scheduled for next Tuesday.
It is the second time in as many years that Halifax have had to pull out after the lack of a front row caused last season's tie at Redcar to be forfeited.

Halifax have a proud history in the competition having lifted the silverware 13 times in the past.

A number of Rhys Morgan's side are carrying knocks prompting the club's withdrawal.
