JUNIOR Brown bagged his fifth goal of the season to send Town into the Unibond One North play-off places for the first time.
And it completed an accomplished away win for the Shaymen who have now taken 19 of the last 21 points on offer.

Unlike their win over Clitheroe seven days earlier when they steamrollered the opposition, Town had to bide their time at the Tameside Stadium.
And, after Brown had broken the deadlock with 16 minutes remaining, they withstood a late flurry from the home side.
The only downside was that it was the last game in a Town shirt for Colin Daniel who will be sorely missed.
To balance that, Paul Gedman returned and played a full 90 minutes - his first since making his move from Droylsden permanent.
And betwen the two frontmen they caused Curzon plenty of problems on an afternoon when it never seemed likely that there would be much between the sides.
There was a definite sense of the teams testing each other out in the opening stages of the game.
Michael Norton's early cross was dealt with by Tony Barras and James Ago's delivery from the right went straight across the Town goal soon after.
At the other end, Gedman, Colin Daniel and Cavell Coo all combined before a Tom Baker cross flashed through the six yard box, while Daniel did well to control a Barras free kick only for the defence to clear ahead of Brown.
The first signs that Halifax were taking charge came after 15 minutes when a Damien Allen cross was just too far in front of Gedman for the strike to profit.
A minute later Gedman found Coo wide on the right but his cross bounced awkwardly for Brown and the ball struck his hand.
Town were edging closer to the goal and almost broke the deadlock after 19 minutes when a Barras free kick was half cleared to Allen on the edge of the area, but the midfielder's shot flew just over the top.
Gedman was thenhustled off the ball as he tried to get on the end of a Daniel pass.
Then, after good work from Barras and Brown, the ball fell for Daniel who thumped a rising effort over.
Adam Jones's effort from distance that was blocked by Barras was all the home side could offer in reply until the 36th minute when Town surrendered possession allowing Norton to cross from the right for Alex Elliott who headed wide from eight yards.
Curzon offered a little bit more at the start of the second half with Chris Worsley and Norton both firing narrowly wide from distance.
But Town were soon back on top with a Tom Baker free kick from the edge of the area causing a moment's concern for home stopper David Carnell.
Baker also tested the keeper from 25 yards with a shot that flew quickly into his arms.
And the mounting pressure finally paid dividends in the 74th minute after Daniel had done exceptionally well to prevent a wild Gedman shot from going out for a throw in.
Instead, he won a throw himself from which the ball was worked to Scott Phelan and his deep cross from the right was met by Brown, whose downward header bounced into the net.
Gedman almost made the game safe minutes later when he tried to get round Danny Verity, but the Curzon substitute recovered well.
And there was a let off for the Shaymen with six minutes remaining when Norton hit the base of a post from close range.
But the visitors finished on the up and might even have doubled their tally in the closing stages.
Ashley Stott saw an effort deflected wide and behind for a corner from which Brown sent over the ball.
It beat Gedman and landed at Stott's feet but he was denied again, this time by a point blank Carnell save.

STAR SHAYMAN
At the moment it is a case of if the Town strikers don't get you, Junior Brown will.
The midfielder scored his fifth goal in five league games to give the Shaymen the points at the Tameside Stadium.
And it was another header from one of the more diminutive players on the field.
He proved a real handful for the Curzon defence all afternoon raiding down the left and at one stage they could do not more than scythe him down from behind as he jinked towards the area.
Tom Baker has settled in to his new surroundings really quickly and gave another all action display in the middle of the park.
Busy winning the ball back one minute, spraying it from one side of the pitch to the other the next.
He might have had his first goal for Halifax as well but for a couple of saves midway through the second half.
Paul Gedman's arrival on a permanent basis has been universally welcomed at the Shay and he showed why on Saturday.
While he didn't score he worked the home defence hard from start to finish ensuring they could take nothing for granted.
Brown takes the three points on offer in our season long competition with Baker two and Gedman one.
