FC Halifax Town are set to run the rule over striker Danny Davidson.
Boss Jim Vince expects the former Harrogate Railway frontman at training tomorrow when the Shaymen are without a league game.
"We are looking to get him involved," said Vince whose side had been struggling for goals before Wednesday's 3-1 FA Cup preliminary round replay win at Silsden.
Ashley Stott, who bagged two, and Jonathan Smith both opened their accounts against the North West Counties League side.
Davidson, who has also had spells at Ossett Town and Bradford Park Avenue, trained on the Cougar Park pitch alongside Ryan Sugden before the midweek cup clash.
And he watched his potential new teammates win through to a first qualifying round tie with Ryton a week tomorrow from the main stand.
He shot to prominence last season for Railway in the FA Cup when he bagged a couple of goals as a substitute in a 3-2 second round defeat at the hands of Mansfield.
During pre-season he was linked with a switch to the Shaymen's Northern Counties East League neighbours Brighouse Town.
Sugden is also expected to train with the rest of the Town squad tomorrow as he continues his recovery from a thigh strain.
And club skipper Tony Barras is on the road to recovery as well.
The veteran central defender, who underwent minor knee surgery on the eve of the season, trained on the Shay pitch before last Saturday's game.
Town are next in action when they travel to Mossley's Seel Park on Tuesday and fans can book their places on the supporters coach now by calling 07707 143094.
