Football fans from all corners of the country have been following the plight of Halifax Town on our website.
Through our user analysis software we can see which sites are linking to our stories, and how many people are clicking through from each site.

Over the past week many of these sites have been fans' forums of clubs from the Championship right down
to non-league, and hundreds of fans have been coming to our site from each of them.

The highest number of views came from Altrincham's fans' forum - reflecting the fact that their Blue Square Premier status was likely to be returned should Halifax Town fold or be demoted.

Many of the other clubs represented are from the lower leagues - perhaps suggesting fans of these clubs fear they could one day be faced with the same fate as those of the Shaymen.

And supporters of clubs from all the divisions of the football league have been following the story, no doubt sympathetic to the plight of Halifax Town.

There were no referrals from Premiership fans' sites, perhaps reflecting the gap between English football's top division and the rest.

Below is a league table showing the top 25 fans' groups who have been linking to www.halifaxcourier.co.uk

1. Altrincham
2. Leyton Orient
3. Leeds United
4. Yeovil Town
5. Huddersfield Town

Glen Ackroyd, of property firm A Quick Sake, deserves thanks for thinking of all those 200 ex-HTFC fans/supporters at this troubled time.

This very fine offer will give them all the chance to watch some real football now at Bradford City who have a complete stand.

Take up his offer whilst it lasts!

Rumour has it that the ex-fans-supporters will possibly be running a 15 seater mini bus to matches, at the moment there are 11 spare seats so if you want transport to Valley Parade get you name down quickly!
