A FANS group has again urged the consortium to make an announcement on its plans.
Yesterday, the businessmen met the deadline set them by the Unibond League and barring a last-minute hitch they will be fielding a team in its division one north next season.

The Halifax Town Supporters' Trust is now seeking a clear outline on the future of the new club being formed - and earlier asked for fans to be involved in a decision on the new name, which will need approval from the Football Association.

"We would hope the consortium would now issue a statement. The waiting continues," said a spokesman.

He added the long-awaited statement from administrators Begbies Traynor did little to inform fans.

The administrators have declined opportunities to directly talk to the Courier.

surely the administrators are just doing there job, they have nothing to do the with 'new club', there aim will be to gain any extra funds in to pay off some of the debts before liquidation. If that means gaining fee's for the remaining contracted players and don't forget Mr Wilder, then that is what there job is. As I see it the only thing effecting the 'new club' and is relevant to the 'new club' is if they wont Mr Wilder/players, playing/managering the 'new club', if so i'm sure the administrators will require a fee from the 'new club' to pay off there contracts.

As far as i can tell the only information immediately required from the 'new club' is:-
Who they wont to manager for next season.
Players they wont for next season.
Have they re employed the 'old clubs' staff, or are they still paying there wages throught the administrators.
Season ticket prices.
Pre season games.
What help/envolvement required from the 'trust' and 'supporters club' and the ordinary fan.
Have they got the new kit arranged.
But most important is the descision on the 'new name'.
Sponsorship packages/fund raising idea's.
As we all will appreicate funds will be tight and we will probably go back to the days when alot more supporters help for free by doing tasks like turnstiles, cleaning, and supporting the team etc, but we need to be asked, with six weeks to go, come on consortium let us in and tell us what is going on, we are waiting to help you
