Halifax Town fans await outcome of Football Conference board meeting

HALIFAX Town fans are today waiting on the consortium to unfold the latest drama surrounding the club.
The Football Conference board meeting broke up late yesterday and club representatives will be contacted on the outcome of talks.

Businessmen funding the club hope it is allowed to reform rather than start from scratch lower down the football pyramid.

Earlier this week the consortium said it would make a further announcement once more details are known and fans are waiting for a speedy response following yesterday's meeting in London.

If the club is kicked out of the Conference a newly formed club could possibly play in the Northern Premier League Divison One North - the fourth tier of non-league football - and the club's supporters' trust are preparing for that eventuality if the consortium doesn't proceed with its interest.

Glen Ackroyd, of property firm A Quick Sake, deserves thanks for thinking of all those 200 ex-HTFC fans/supporters at this troubled time.

This very fine offer will give them all the chance to watch some real football now at Bradford City who have a complete stand.

Take up his offer whilst it lasts!

Rumour has it that the ex-fans-supporters will possibly be running a 15 seater mini bus to matches, at the moment there are 11 spare seats so if you want transport to Valley Parade get you name down quickly!

Well your all being told to support the consortium/ company - bet you all will have to sing the company song before any game.

I do hope that everyone takes up the great offer from a good local football team of Bradford City

I think it is such a marvelous offer by Bradford City to offer reduced price tickets to all the ex-HTFC fans/supportres and I just cannot understand why these few fans/supports on here are not being grateful in accepting this wonderfull offer of reduced tickets.

As well as being able to support a team of real footballers to save money on travleling expenses they could hire a mini bus to take them there on match days
