Ross Clegg will miss FC Halifax Town's clash with Durham City at the Shay (3.0) game after being helped from the field early in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Lancaster City.
The initial prognosis is that the midfielder will be missing for six to eight weeks after suffering a medial ligament injury.
Jonathan Smith could feature despite having stitches in a head wound while Vince was waiting for news on Matt Woolley, who played for Alsager at the weekend, as he returns from a hamstring injury.
Adam Morning, who missed the Lancaster game after suffering reaction to his injury after Tuesday's game is a doubt while Tom Harban missed Saturday's encounter with a slight ankle problem.
The good news for Vince was that Junior Brown managed 45 minutes as a substitute despite still feeling the effects of shingles.
"Junior has been poorly and I didn't really want to use him on Saturday," said Vince.
"But we were toothless from a wide area and it probably did him good."
