Ossett Albion 3 FC Halifax Town 4: Town get home draw

FC Halifax Town's reward for last night's 4-3 win at Ossett Albion is home game with Sheffield FC in round two.
Danny Davidson scored twice from the bench with Danny Ellis and Nigel Jemson also on target for the Shaymen at Dimple Wells Road.

Davidson struck in the 70th minute to make it 3-1 and again five minutes later to bag what proved to be the winner a
s Ossett battled to the bitter end.

Ellis had levelled the scores at 1-1 10 minutes before half time after former Shayman Michael Senior had given Ossett an early lead.

Jemson bagged his third goal of the season just before the hour mark to fire Town in front for the first time

Sheffield booked their place in the next round with a 1-0 win over Unibond Division One South rivals Goole.

The match will be played at the Shay on Tuesday, October 14 (7.45pm).
