A SHAKE-UP of board members on the Halifax Town Supporters' Trust was announced at its annual meeting.
Nick Fletcher has been appointed and he is involved with Halifax Town's Centre of Excellence.

Mark Butterick has also joined. He is a human resources manager.

Serving member Gavin Butler was appointed as chairman, while Alan Alderson, Martin
Bishop, Andrew Heaton, Johnny Meynell and Jonathon Monaghan all had their positions on the board confirmed.

Allan Baker, George Probets and Jack Haymer have resigned.

Mr Butler said following a tubulent few months for the trust it now needed a period of stability to enable it to move forward.

"Mistakes made in the past have made us all more experienced and better equipped to face the opportunities and challenges of the future," he said.

"We will be looking to arrange a meeting with the board of FC Halifax Town to find ways in which we can help and support the new club mature into something we can all be proud of."

Mr Probets, who organises away coach travel for Town fans, said his resignation was a result of becoming disheartened over recent months.

He supported the trust in its efforts to have a Plan B in case the businessmen now running the club walked away.

"But, what disheartened a lot of people was when Plan B was started some people wanted to change it to Plan A."
