FOUR more players have signed for FC Halifax Town.
Ex-Crewe striker Junior Brown, former Leeds and Wigan fullback Kris King and ex-Liverpool midfielder/fullback Mattone Awang put pen to paper after training on Thursday night.

All three players were in action for Jim Vince's side as trialists in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat by Bury at the Shay with Brown in particular earning rave reviews for his display on the left.

And today Vince has moved to sign a fourth player - former Leeds United academy central defender Liam Smith.

Vince's No 2 Nigel Jemson said: "The manager is looking for a squad of 17 or 18 players and things are coming along nicely.

"We need maybe another two or three players and we have identified the positions that need filling but it takes a little bit of time."

The Shaymen, forced out of the Blue Square Premier after financial problems, start life in the Unibond League's Division One North at home to Bamber Bridge on August 18.

Another brain dead comment from a pointless person, still using 1 hand to tap on the keyboard.

Good try 'Hello it's me'. You spelt three-quarters of the words correctly. Let's see if you can make no errors next time. You may also want to capitalize the initial letter of the first word in your sentence. Loser. Or should that be 'looser'.
