Joe Shute, the latest addition to the Courier's reporting team, is embarking on a 500-mile cycle ride - his own Tour de France -from Roscoff in Brittany, to Bordeaux.
He is facing the challenge with friend Ben, whose dad was killed by pancreatic cancer last year. Their ride will raise money to help the fight against the disease.

Follow their progress over the next few weeks with Joe's blog, right here.

Well done mate. Keep going! I'm watching the Tour de France each day on Euro Sport and I feel your pain!

Up the Rangers!

Loving the blog. Reminds me of my early travels especially obsession with next meal (some things never change).
