BAZZ Robson is showing youngsters how to dance like their favourite popstars.
The professional choreographer who has been helping women across Calderdale feel fabulous is now extending his expertise to children and teenagers with two new classes.
The Courier's
Join Our Club campaign is highlighting the sessions as part of our push to encourage people to be more healthy.
Teaching routines to songs by artists including Rihanna, Lady Ga Ga and Girls Aloud, the new classes are already proving a hit.
"I didn't think I'd ever do classes for young people but there was such a demand," said the 28-year-old instructor and owner of Bazzmatazz Dance Studio, Berwick Street Mills, Square Road, Halifax.
"But the women who I usually teach were saying their kids were always asking about coming to Bazzmatazz classes and asking if I did younger people's classes. The demand was there.
"Hopefully it will encourage young people to get out and do some exercise through dancing."
Bazz added he especially pleased two teenage boys have started his classes, and hopes more will join them.
"I was always in front of my mirror practising the dance routines from Top of the Pops when I was younger," he said. "I would have loved something like this."
Bazzmatazz Kidz, for eight to 11-year-olds, take place every Thursday from 4pm, while Bazzmatazz Teenz, for 12 to 16-year-olds, are held every Wednesday from 4.30pm.
