In the under-11 boys, George Ainsley had yet another eye catching run as he was narrowly edged out of third spot by a single second, but showed great strength as he battled to hang on to fourth place.

Caius Lee in his first race for the club, ran well in the conditions to finish in 31st place. With one more race to go, Ainsley is currently lying in third place overall.

The under-11 girls were also on form as they too put themselves back in team medal contention with a second place. There wasn't much between the scoring Halifax trio of Amy Cowton, Jasmine Walker and Hetty Walker, with the girls storming across the line in 13th, 14th and 15th respectively. It was yet another trio crossing the line further down the field with seconds between them also as Julie Northcott, Olivia King and Libby Bow came in 19th, 20th and 21st. Once again showing some nice teamwork, Amy Johnson, Louise Chapman and Millie Swift crossed the line in 26th, 27th and 28th respectively.

The under-13 girls saw Molly Traviss once again set off with the leaders and put in a spirited run that saw her rewarded with a fourth place. unable to field a full team, the only other Harrier to finish was Caroline Johnson in 40th place.

It was a very close race between Luke Hartley and Edan Whitelaw in the under-13 boys as luke eventually edged in front by a second, the boys finishing 10th and 12th. With Matthew Cowten in his first race for the club in 38th place.

The under-15 boys put on a good display of running with Jerome Castelow regaining some fine from to storm through for fifth place. There was another super run from Max Wharton in seventh place and with Brad Traviss and Liam Holliday for support, the lads took second team place.

With one remaining race it is looking highly likely that this talented team are in line for team gold.

Still trying to regain her form, after illness, Holly Callaghan improved on her last cross-country to finish in the top 10 but with only Molly Jagger in 26th for support, the girls were unable to score in the teams, which needs three to run.

Hannah Pilkington lead in her team for fourth place in the under-17 ladies with another confident run in 13th position.

Despite not being able to manage a top three finish, yet, Sam Kerfoot-Roberts is, through his consistency in finishing in a leading position still in contention for an individual medal. As always, Sam gave 100 per cent but is still trying to get to grips with this older age group. A determined run saw him take fourth place with yet another strong run from Mikie Gaughan in 10th.

With Chris Sage and Kieran Royston completing the team, which finished second.
