ST Columbas under 10s produced a dominant display in a 5-1 win at Halifax Irish Golds.
Owen Scarborough and Joe Ashington produced fine efforts at goal with the Irish keeper making some great saves.
Scarborough went on to net a hat trick while solid defending from George English-Burns, Joel Fox, James Crabtree and Hadley von Eda kept the home team off the scoreboard
In the second half Lewis Kilduff made his debut in goal for Saints, who continued to pepper the Irish goal.
The home side did find their way through to make it 4-1 before Joe Ashington wrapped things up with the fifth goal.
Greetland Stars continued their fine form with a 5-0 win over Warley.
The game was evenly matched until Adam Carmalt-McLarnon won the ball in defence and played it up to Kieran Stevens who made space to slide home.
Greetland picked up the pace and found the net again through a fine solo effort from Jonah Lennon.
Adam Hind, in fine form on the left, was unlucky not to get on scoresheet after seeing a stinging shot tipped over the bar.
Greetland struck again with Finley McNamara making space for Kieran Stevens to pounce and poke the ball home.
The Greetland defence, with Josh Porteus in charge, meant Warley never troubled stand-in keeper Sam Wood.
Greetland found the net again after Stevens shrugged off defenders to fire in a cracking left foot shot into the top corner.
The second half again started evenly with Louis Earnshaw unlucky on a few occasions before Greetland put the ball in the net again, Finley McNamara taking the ball round two defenders before calmly sliding it past the Warley keeper.
Halifax Irish Greens kept their second consecutive clean sheet as they ran out 4-0 winners against Crossley Swifts.
A goal after only 30 seconds unsettled the home team as a quick throw by Niall Paterson was played forward by Elliot Cuttle for Aiden Sparkes to shot high into the net.
Keenan Ramsden went close for Irish but Crossleys keeper Tom Garling pulled off a fine save - one of many in the first half.
The lead was doubled as Zach Render crossed for Sparkes to grab his second.
Just before half time Irish got their third when Ramsden's corner was turned back by Niall Paterson for Oran Thompson to shoot home.
Crossleys performed better in the second half and Max Halsworth and Jamie Sykes combined well, only for George Clarke to pull off a good save for Irish.
Connor Richardson and Matthew Gavan were next to threaten for Crossleys but Isaac Hewitt made a fine tackle and then sent James Senneck away. Senneck passed to Oran Thompson who rounded three players before coolly slotting the ball home to make it 4-0.
Crossleys battled on and Niall Armstrong and Euan Geleziunas played a one-two and set Lewis Lynch free but Clarke saved well.
Halifax Irish looked rusty after a four week lay off and paid the price with a 3-1 defeat against a good Northowram side.
Rams got off to a great start, working the ball into the Irish area from the kick off to score.
Irish hit back, but a run from Brandon Jackson was halted by a good tackle from a Rams defender.
Irish levelled when Luke Samples sent Matthew Crowther clear and he finished well.
Once again Irish fell asleep and the Rams scored again straight from the kick off before they stretched their lead.
Both sides continued to create chances while Irish forced several corners but couldn't convert them into goals
Irish lost their second game of the weekend 2-1 in a entertaining game against a strong Crossleys side.
Crossleys started powerfully but Kyle Helliwell defended strongly, Luke Bradley and Brandon McGibbon got in good blocks and Corey Budgen diverted a goalbound shot for a corner.
Brandon Jackson hit the post after a cross from Matthew Crowther before Brandon McGibbon won the ball and played in Matthew Crowther who in turn laid it off to Luke Samples but he shot wide.
Crossley's scored two quick second half goals and as Irish finished the game strongly Brandon Jackson played the ball through for Matthew Crowther to score.
Crossley Colts remain on top of the league after beating HAFC 4-0 and 5-0.
HAFC were well-drilled and Tyrin Shields and Nathen Carter had to be strong to keep them at bay.
Shields was pushed up to make a four in midfield and that proved vital with the first goal coming from a fine passing display involving Regan Armstrong and Louis Spinner with Paul Davies finishing it off.
Crossleys started to dominate with chances falling to Kian Sunderland. Second half changes saw Kyle Baxter go up front and he also got his name on the scoresheet.
In the second game, Jack Randell, Nathen Carter, Callum Wilkinson and Luke Miller played out with Kian Sunderland going in goal.
However, the outcome was the same with Crossleys running out deserved winners.
