Motor sports: Challoner ends on a high note

WORLD Youth Motorcycle Trials champion Jack Challoner rounded off a very successful year of trials riding by staging an end of season evening at the Milans Hotel in Halifax.
Dougie Lampkin, multi -world champion, presented Challoner with his F.I.M. Gold Medal while Beta-Uk importer John Lampkin praised the Shibden youngster's all-round abilities and results to over 200 fellow riders and guests including World stars Alexz Wigg, James Dabill, Michael Brown and Zac Sherwin.

Challoner will be 18 in the New Year and will be able to compete on machines over the engine capacity of 125cc in National, European and World Championship status events.
