Police are hunting for a burglar who stole First World War medals from an elderly couple in Leeds.
The General Service medals belonged to the grandfather of one of the residents at the house on Pudsey Road, Armley, who was killed in action in 1917.

The medals, both engraved with the name Ernest Dennison, hold "a great deal of sentimental value", police have said.
