A new cocktail and wine bar has officially opened in Elland, today (Sunday).
Gatsby, The Cross, Elland, opened its door to over 200 guests in an opening celebration, officially opened by broadcaster Christa Ackroyd.
Guests enjoyed food, cocktails, champagne and other tipples to Three Men and a Bass - a contemporary jazz band.
The naming of the venue depicts the era in which the famous novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald was written in 1925.
Manager Emma Tordoff and co-owners Adrian Green and Trevor Thornton said they have brought something to Elland that wasn’t there previously and aim for a sophisticated clientele.
