It's a hotbed of tennis potential
By Sunday we could have our first Wimbledon men's champion since 1936. But if Andy Murray does not take the crown, we will again be scratching our heads wondering what more we can do to create better tennis players in this country.
At least here in Calderdale we are ahead of the game. The youth tennis scene is flourishing with more than 50 children attending coaching sessions in Brighouse each week.
And if Murray does pull off that vital victory, what a further boost those sporting youngsters will receive.
