It's time for a good laugh...
On a far lighter note congratulations are in order to all those who have helped organise the very first Halifax Comedy Festival.
The kind of spectacle that earns a town its entertainment spurs.
And the possibilities are endless when you attract the kind of top flight acts that are heading here at the end of July.
There is hushed talk of this becoming a warm-up to the Edinburgh Festival. How exciting would that be?
All we in Calderdale can now do is make sure we support the dozens of different shows that are taking place here.
And have a real good laugh doing it.
