Happy anniversary to acting group
An acting group is set to celebrate its 80th anniversary in style.
The Halifax Thespians will be celebrating their anniversary and history with more than 80 members of all ages.
Jeanne O'Rourke, president of the group, who bought the Halifax Playhouse in 1949, said: "It all started with just a small group of like-minded thespians and we are very proud to reach this milestone."
The party will be at Bertie's Banqueting Rooms, Elland, on Friday at 7.30pm.
