I am acting on behalf of the authorities at the United Nationals Memorial Cemetery in Busan, South Korea, where over 800 British servicemen are at rest.

The authorities wish to obtain photographs of the servicemen interred there and also those who died but have no known grave. The photographs will be attached to their records and also displayed in the cemetery hall of remembrance.

The following are some of the young men of West Yorkshire who gave their lives in Korea: Fus Fred Kenyon, L-Cpl Donald Oldfield, L-Cpl Harry Hamer, Cpl Edward McAleese, Pte Andrew Hepple, Pte Thomas Sheldrake, Cpl Charles E Trott, Pte Dennis Walker, Cpl Rowland F Firth, Sgt Edward M Hall, Gnr Norman Grayston, Pte Roy GIbson, Pte Ronald P Kelly.

Any family who lost a loved one in the Korean War 1950-53 and wishes to take part can send the photograph to me at the above address or contact me on 0161 7897633 for further details.
