THERE’s still a chance to snap up some of the last remaining tickets for this year’s Rewind Festival and enjoy a host of top 80s acts.
Join lucky reader Maureen Wilson who won a pair of tickets last week to the annual summer festival in a Courier competition and party to the sounds of the 80s all weekend.
The festival takes revellers back in time to the era of dayglo, shoulder pads and mullets in the August 19/21 weekend-long event by the river at Temple Island Meadows in Henley-on-Thames.
Famous acts hitting the stage include Bananarama, Billy Idol, the Human League, China City, Kim Wilde, UB40, Earth Wind and Fire and the Village People.
With just two weeks to go, there are now the last remaining tickets to camp for the weekend.
Families are welcome with an impressive array of activities for all ages to enjoy - such as a kidzone, a funfair, fireworks, live karaoke and a silent disco.
The Groovy Movie Picture House will also be making its Rewind debut this year - the world’s first solar-powered cinema.
Themed bars will keep party-goers hydrated during the weekend including a double decker bus serving Pimms.
The festival’s campsite - which opens from Friday night - is situated in the meadows beside the River Thames and will be stewarded 24 hours a day, with showers and toilets throughout.
