THE Champagne flowed for a Marks and Spencer worker who completed 25 years service.
Halifax employee Liesa Heppenstall attended a celebratory London event.

She joined more than 100 staff from across the UK at the ceremony, organised to reward those who had worked for the company for up to 40 years.

Together they clocked up 2,820 years of service.

Miss Heppenstall received shares to mark her achievement and was treated to a West End show and an overnight stay in a top London hotel.

Miss Heppenstall, who began her as a sales assistant at M&S in Bradford, said: "I've learned such a lot over my 25 years and am pleased to be part of such a great team."
