A LEADING electrical trades supplier and lighting specialist is rising to new heights.
Halifax-based JG Harrison & Sons, one of the north's longest established, independent family-run electrical specialists, now has two new "cherry picker" working platforms in its ever-increasing hire fleet.

The platforms allow customers to work securely at and access heights of up to 17 metres.

Harrisons now hire Cable Crimping Tools, Portable Appliance Testers, Gener-ators, Cable Jacks and Conduit Bending Machines, in addition to six types of working platform.

Sales director Chris Harrison said: "Despite the general doom and gloom around in terms of business forecasts and credit crunch predictions, we decided to invest in these additional items of plant now to not only offer our customers even more choice and value but also to demonstrate our financial commitment to those customers for the long term.

"We are delighted to make available under one roof, at any of our four sites, everything that an electrical contractor or lighting engineer may need to complete a job in safety and at a realistic cost to their business.

"We believe that our continued investment in our business can add value to the businesses of our customers and potential customers alike."
