GROWING healthcare firms and practices can now get specialist banking support from a local team.
Lloyds TSB Commercial has launched the team of five in response to the rapid growth of the healthcare sector.
A range of financial services are available to companies and practices across Calderdale, Bradford, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield with an annual turnover of up to £15 million.
The bank supports more than 250 GPs, dentists, pharmacists, opticians and other healthcare sector firms across the region, producing a combined turnover of more than £100 million.
Graham Scott, regional head of healthcare banking services, said: "Businesses operating in the healthcare sector often have specific requirements and many West Yorkshire firms are experiencing rapid growth. With plenty of opportunities in the sector and a wealth of innovative and entrepreneurial healthcare companies in the region we're targeting a 20 per cent increase in our customer base over the next 12 months," he said.
