Ashton future unclear
Twickenham'S top brass have authorised the recruitment of a team manager and another specialist coach - but England boss Brian Ashton's future remains unclear.
Rob Andrew, the RFU's elite rugby director, will continue discussions aimed at filling both posts before the end of April.
England's victorious 2003 World Cup captain Martin Johnson is a firm favourite to become manager. Mike Catt and Austin Healey, meanwhile, have both been linked to a coaching role.
