TOWN'S play-off hopes were handed a boost when Curzon Ashton dropped two points at lowly Warrington last night - but it could have been so much better.
The home side raced into a two-goal lead in the opening half hour of the Unibond One North clash at Cantilever Park.
But Curzon, who are at the Shay on Easter Monday, hit back in the second period - Michael Norton scoring two including a last minute penalty - to move a point clear of the Shaymen in fifth place with a game in hand.
Leaders Durham entertain seventh-placed Lancaster City in the north east tonight.
