SHELF'S Dave Maloney has shot to the top of the standings in the Division Two monthly and seasonal sections in the Courier Sport/Briggs Priestley Engravers Awards.
The former Brighouse player took eight wickets against Clayton last week to take his tally for June/July to 19 and now has 39 for the campaign.
Maloney didn't manage to dismiss Paul Ascough six days ago, however, and the Clayton man's unbeaten 113 -
his second ton in recent weeks - makes him the frontrunnner in the same division's batting section for the two months in the middle of the season.
Warley's Michael Midwood and SBCI's Alex Kaye haven't had a knock of less than 46 between them in the last six league matches and are battling it out at the top of the June/July batting standings.
Rick Laycock's five wickets for Booth against Jer Lane last Saturday have taken him above seasonal leader Martin Schofield in the bowling list.
The big movers in the middle section last weekend were Bradshaw pair Wayne Cotton (200 no) and Steve Shannon (seven wickets), who made it an uncomfortable afternoon for Oxenhope.
There are awards for the top performers in each section during June/July, then during August/September and finally over the whole of the season.
