Cricket: Centre Vale to host a feast of Yorkshire cricket

AS the first team don't stray over to this area these days, the main opportunity for Tykes fans in Calderdale to see county sides in action first hand comes with the second team.
With that in mind, we will be trying on this page to keep you in touch with the second string's fortunes throughout the summer, particularly when they hit the locality.
And they will be doing that next week when Yorkshire take on Somerset in a Second XI Championship clash at Todmorden's picturesque Centre Vale ground.
The three day game begins on Tuesday, May 20, refreshments are available and the bar will be open all day.
And with the weather at last becoming more settled, everything appears set for a great week of action and there should be a good atmosphere with the usual healthy Tod crowd expected.
