ELLAND CC have snapped up left-arm pace bowler Matthew Burton as their overseas player for the forthcoming Huddersfield League campaign.
The 25-year-old has been playing Grade One cricket in New South Wales and taken most wickets and was the most economical bowler in his division.

Burton will make a stop over in London, where his father lives, before arriving at Elland for their opening league match at home to promoted Lepton Highlanders on April 20.

Elland are also at home the following day to Keighley in the first round of the Heavy Woollen Cup competition.
