TOWN'S players should have no problems recovering from their extended workout against Sheffield as they prepare for Saturday's league clash with Chorley at the Shay.

That's the view of striker Ashley Stott, who completed Tuesday's 3-1 extra time win in the President's Cup with his 14th goal of the season.
Stott puts the players' impressive fitness down to manager Jim Vince and his backroom staff.
"The lads have been doing a lot of work with Ian Helliwell and the Gaffer before the game and a good cool down with Ian after matches," he said. "He is looking after the lads and keeping us in good shape.
"And with physio Alan Russell Cox keeping us off the injury list, playing again on Saturday after extra time on Tuesday shouldn't have an effect."
While fitness is not an issue, Stott admitted that despite scoring twice at Woodley Sports, he had not been happy with his form last weekend, after which boss Vince demanded more from the striker.
"I didn't think I played well at all at Woodley Sports even thought I scored two goals," he said. "My hold up play was not the best.
"The manager will keep plugging away with me, along with Nigel Jemson who is teaching me a lot as well, and turn me into a better player. That's why I came to Halifax.
"It is nice to keep the goals ticking over. The team is winning which is becoming a habit and it is the same with goalscoring.
"The Gaffer is working a lot on me at the moment. He wants me to stand behind the opposition centre halfs so they don't know where I am.
"Sometimes it looks a bit laboured, but it is all a plan to run off the defenders' shoulders.
"He works with me and I keep throwing the goals in."
The goals have helped contribute to a six-game winning run in the league which has seen the Shaymen hit top spot.
But the team's impressive form has come as no surprise to the former Bangor City frontman.
"The manager has brought quality players in to the club like Paul Gedman, Tom Baker and Danny Meadowcroft and they have done well," said Stott. "They have helped us to kick on.
"The lads are absolutely flying."
