OVENDEN West Riding continue their fight for survival in the Premier Division when they visit bottom club Keighley Shamrocks at Marley Stadium (2.30).
Fresh from Tuesday's 4-2 home win over Tyersal, Ovenden will be hoping to continue their good run of form.

Ryan Brook is playing cricket but Andy Hurcombe comes back into the squad after missing the midweek match.

Halifax Irish Club could do Ovenden a favour by beating Ardsley Celtic at Shroggs Park.

Ardsley are fourth from bottom - one place above Ovenden - in the battle to avoid the second relegation berth behind a doomed Keighley Shamrocks side.

Irish were 6-0 winners at Hall Green United on Wednesday with goals from Alex Tait (two), Brian Matthews, Matthew Banks, Rob Malone and Wayne Crossley.

Jimmy Penn, who stood in at full back, and centre back Noel Whitaker were outstanding and the quality of the performance delighted boss Stuart Waddington.

"It was a good footballing performance. We got the ball down, played some good stuff and they couldn't live with us," said Waddington.

With seemingly no new injuries, Waddington is hoping for a similar line-up tomorrow as Irish, now up to sixth, look to beat Campion to a fifth-place finish.

Brighouse Town's last hope of first team silverware this season was ended when they lost 2-0 to Ovenden in the Halifax FA Cup semi-final last weekend and thoughts are now turning to the club's switch to the Northern Counties East League.

However, Tony Lyons, who is stepping down as first team boss, will expect his men to show plenty of pride in their last four games in the County Amateur League.

A tough run-in continues tomorrow with a trip to leaders and title favourites Bay Athletic.

Nigel Smith is unavailable because he is playing in a testimonial match at Farsley Celtic while centre half Tony Nicholson is a doubt with a facial injury collected against Ovenden. However, Damian Gomersall and promising Jake Lawlor are set to return.

Brighouse Town Reserves entertain rock bottom Barclays in Division Two while title rivals Tyersal, two points behind leaders Town with a game in hand, travel to Golcar Reserves.

Ovenden West Riding Reserves host Keighley Shamrocks Reserves at Shroggs Park.

After Wednesday's 3-3 draw at Bronte Wanderers in the Reserve Division this is a must win game.

James Machon returns to bolster Ovenden hopes of a top two finish.

BRIGHOUSE Town will stage a Premier Division Cup match on Bank Holiday Monday morning (11.0) but not the expected final between Lower Hopton and Hemsworth MW.

Instead, West Riding County FA chiefs have ruled that Campion and Hemsworth must replay their semi-final because the penalty shoot out won by Hemsworth first time around was not carried out according to FA rules.
