OVENDEN West Riding were the only local winners on the opening night of games in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division.
They got their campaign off to a flying start with a 3-0 victory at Campion.
There was no joy for Brighouse Town, who went down 3-0 at Marsden while Halifax Irish were beaten 3-1 at Wibsey.
Town and Irish will get a chance to bag their first wins of the season when they meet at St Giles Road on Saturday.
