Golf: Alliance event called off

THE Halifax/Huddersfield and District Alliance event scheduled for Hanging Heaton next Tuesday, has been cancelled due to a lack of entries.
It is hoped that the competition can be re-scheduled for later in the season.
Meanwhile, the executive of the Alliance are meeting at Outlane Golf Club tomorrow at 8pm and would welcome any suggestions or thoughts either by e-mail or in person on helping the Alliance regain its popularity.
