VETERAN forward David Larder's breathless dash from the half way line was the runaway winner of the Courier's Try of the Season competition.
Larder's 60-metre touchdown against Batley at the Shay attracted 46 per cent of the total votes in our online poll.

Larder's effort, which featured a brilliant dummy to dispose of Bulldogs full back Ian Preece, beat Ben Black's last-gasp matchwinner against Batley at Mount Pleasant into second place.

Black shared the runners up spot with Jon Goddard, who turned up on the end of a stunning long range move at Salford in June.
