FORMER Nottingham Forest frontman Nigel Jemson will be manager Jim Vince's number two for Halifax's first season in the Unibond League Division One North.
And the 38-year-old, who scored the winner for Forest in the 1990 League Cup final against Oldham, is also likely to be registered to play for his new club.
Jemson scored 109 goals in 420 league appearances during a 10-club playing career.
Until last May he was manager of Ilkeston Town in the Unibond Premier Division.
Halifax have arranged a sixth pre-season friendly, with a trip to Guiseley on Thursday, August 7 (7.45pm). Jim Vince's side will kick off their pre-season against Bury at the Shay on July 22.
They will also entertain Droylsden on July 31 with other games at Alsager Town on July 26, Ashton United on August 2 and Ossett Albion on August 9.
